Our Aim

Israel and Hamas have reached a ceasefire agreement that includes the release of hostages and prisoners, set to begin on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The ceasefire will last for 42 days, during which both parties have agreed to suspend hostilities. As part of the deal, Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages in phases, starting with the release of three female hostages on the first day, followed by additional releases every week. In exchange, Israel has committed to releasing approximately 2,000 Palestinian prisoners based on lists provided by Hamas.

This agreement comes after 15 months of conflict and is seen as a critical step toward peace and humanitarian relief in the region. It reflects months of negotiations and signals a temporary halt to the violence that has impacted countless lives on both sides.
