WHY Education

At PDC, we recognize education as a cornerstone for addressing key societal challenges such as healthcare, poverty, population growth, unemployment, and human rights. Ensuring access to quality education equips children with the tools to secure their futures and fosters their development as responsible citizens contributing to national and global progress.

In Somalia, barriers such as socio-economic challenges, conflict, and limited educational resources hinder many children from accessing consistent and quality learning opportunities. PDC is committed to overcoming these obstacles through inclusive education initiatives and community-driven programs that prioritize the educational needs of vulnerable and marginalized children.

The organization provides scholarships, learning materials, and training for teachers and students.
